Navajo Rug Weaving Loom
Looking down on this doll you can see the infant in the cradleboard more clearly. The weavers hair is done up in the traditional bun. The loom must be strong enough to hold the warps under considerable tension.
The only tools required to make the loom would have been a hand saw to cut the Pinon or Ponderosa pine branches it made from and a draw knife to strip the bark.
